ZDS is actively involved in several international and Slovene projects as the project manager and as a partner. Regularly, we are applying for new projects for foreign and domestic competitions. The projects presented are an important channel of international lobbying and for gaining new knowledge.
The project SSD-SMM: Strengthening social dialogue in the retail, food-processing and agriculture sector in Slovenia, Macedonia and Montenegro was a part of a category Support to European social dialogue and is co-funded by the European Commission.
By analysing current and planned company restructuring strategies in Central European Countries, the project aimed at promoting effective company decision-making on restructuring in order to optimise at the same time the competitiveness of companies in the global economy and workers’ adaptability to change. Knowledge, experience and good practices focused on effective management of restructuring were exchanged through national and transnational partnership for restructuring and skill needs, which would support positive and proactive approach to change.
Inclusive labour markets allow and encourage all people of working age to participate in paid work and provide a framework for their development.The European social partners consider an inclusive labour market to be fundamental in terms of fostering economic development and social cohesion. On March 25, 2010 ETUC, BUSINESSEUROPE, UEAPME and CEEP presented their European agreement on inclusive labour markets at the Tripartite Social Summit in Brussels.
Stres na delovnem mestu je vedno bolj pereč problem tako za zaposlene kot delodajalce v Evropski Uniji. Zadnje raziskave (EU-OSHA, Eurofond, IOSHA) kažejo, da je stres drugi največji zdravstveni problem. Stres na delovnem mestu se po raziskavah iz leta v leto povečuje.
The Aim of the project was to support the employers’ organisations and individual companies of Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia in managing industrial relations and implementing an industrial policy on restructuring in the transport sector:
In this project we shall examine which legal fields, which legal acts and rules of law focus on that, and which legal acts and rules of law could improve the actual situation in this field if they were adopted or improved.
With this project we also wish to develop an instrument in order to determine the psychosocial and medical risk factors at the workplace, which are connected to stress. The purpose of the PPDZ-S project is to create a supporting environment to improve the work processes and conditions in the field of workers' health protection connected to stress at the workplace.
The project GEAR FOR CHANGES aim is to encourage enterprises to introduce actions to prevent negative impact of change in terms of health and psycho-social risks on time. Experiences and HW practices focused on programmes for workers/managers experiencing changes in the event of restructuring will be exchanged throuhg transnational expert network.
The project has the aim to provide support for including EFP in the EU policy agenda in response to the most pressing EU challenges.
In order to achieve that objective, we will explore the labour legislation and other legal bases of work payment, as well as different systems of current wage models in Slovenia and foreign countries.
