GEAR FOR CHANGES - Get employees aware and ready for changes

The project GEAR FOR CHANGES aim is to encourage enterprises to introduce actions to prevent negative impact of change in terms of health and psycho-social risks on time. Experiences and HW practices focused on programmes for workers/managers experiencing changes in the event of restructuring will be exchanged throuhg transnational expert network.

The GEAR FOR CHANGES objectives are:

  • to raise awareness and promote benefitrs of permanently, on-time and constructive incorporation of individual and organizational health and wellbeing issues in to restructuring process
  • to help employers and social partners to prevent and treat the health problems of workers faced with restructuring
  • to raise awareness among employers (especially line/middle managers) of stress factors resistance to change and importance of communication prior and during restructuring.
