The aims of the project were:
ˇ to develop innovative measures and activities for the improvement of geographical and occupational mobility of workers
ˇ to encourage greater geographical and occupational mobility among Slovenian companies and workers
ˇ to remove the remains of boundary barriers

The ZDS organised the final conference in cooperation with the following partner organisations: Adecco, The Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, CPU, ZSSS, EURES and Zavod Meta. The positive effects of the project apply to employers and employees, as they are the immediate beneficieries of the accepted measures and project activities. At the final conference the Slovenian and European experts for mobility, together with the employers’ and unions’ representatives, introduced the current situation in the field of mobility of the workforce. They also presented the project publication, called The Work Programme for Better Mobility, and emphasised the impact of the current recession on migration flows.
