Goals and Tasks
|
Our objective is to represent the interests of Slovenian employers professionally and effectively both at home and abroad. MAIN TASKS: - to ensure the competitiveness of companies on both the domestic and foreign markets, mostly from the standpoint of labour costs
- to ensure a professional base and conduct negotiations of collective agreements at all levels
- to actively co-operate in the preparation and adoption of new legislation in the field of industrial relations
- to monitor, push forward and represent entrepreneurs’ interests
- to promote employers’ views in social dialogue
- to continually balance the interests and viewpoints of employers
SUBSTANTIVE GOALS: - integral promotion of employers’ points of view – "only competitive business terms can assure the realization of business and social goals of social partners in Slovenia"
- signing the agreement on wage policy for 2004 and 2005 and adopting the Annexes to Collective Agreements in the field of economic operations
- preparing and adopting a new collective agreement in the field of economic operations
- preparing an expert basis for a new wage model
- organizing training and consulting in the fields of wage policy, industrial relations and labour and legislative regulations
ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS: - conducting elections for ZDS bodies and thus strengthening the ZDS’s management structure
- increasing our role/reputation in the business environment and social dialogue by organizing professional meetings and trainings
- strengthening our role in collective negotiations – especially on the sectoral level
- establishing an administration and professional network and alliance in the legal, financial, tax and cadre self-services for members – consulting, educational material, education and web services
